    Now maybe the US Navy's guided missile cruisers can be converted to an OS that doesn't require them to be towed back to port every time someone scuffs their feet on the carpet.

    They should make a sound technical decision. Both Microsoft marketing and the Linux fanboy crowd generate a lot of useless noise and propaganda. So let's hope the Navy has someone who is sensible enough to make a decision on merit.
