Sun patches multiple flaws in Java
Sun Microsystems has issued patches for several vulnerabilities in its Java Runtime Environment that leave users on Windows, Linux and Solaris wide open. Java Insecure! Quick, switch to .NET! And still only one Java Virus, too. #
Nice to see El Reg continuing to bash firms besides Microsoft.
It's amazing that after eleven or so years of Java, we haven't seen a single Java virus outbreak, what with all of these vulnerabilities coming to light. There's just some concept virus that Sophos documented.
And of course, were this a .NET bugfix article, there'd be 30+ comments by now bashing Microsoft.
