    Is this correct? Did they find modchips to be legal in the UK? Was the case against the man charge with selling mod chips reversed under appeal.

    Italy did the same, on the basis of you own it, you can mod it, and so what if it can also be used to violate copyright because so can a tape recorder, or hard disk and it's just not enough to lock people up for 'maybe'.
