    How the mighty have fallen ... From top of the line instrumentation, to bog-standard storage.

    "CIOs are being asked to conserve cash, manage costs, and still deliver better technology."

    CIOs in Fortune 500s are, in my estimation, mostly useless ... and part of the reason that HP products are now part of the commodity market.

    Two pages of el Reg devoted to stating the bleeding Obvious! Still, look on the bright side HP have managed to run a survey that shows they agree with the rest of the industry.
