Sage numbers buoyed by falling pound

Small business software specialist Sage saw falling sales balanced out by currency movements over the last six months. Total revenues for the six months ended 31 March 2009 were up 17 per cent to £748.4m, although stripping out currency movements resulted in a 3 per cent fall. 120,000 new customers i very much doubt it, someone should do an audit to find out where these come from, because to my knowledge for years no one has been able to accurately count the customers due to very bad data quality issues.

What, you mean the cross-your-fingers-and-start-preying-when-the-next-update-comes-through routine annoys you?

I thought people /liked/ having to run all that .net bloat just to run an inferior-to-what-went-before-it GUI on a piece of accountancy software.

...and don't get me started on Sage Payroll. It has security issues you could drive one of those Israeli unmanned house demolishers through.
