This is an entirely new product that has nothing (at least not yet) to do with NetVault: Backup, which you are probably referring to. It has a web-based GUI (that works across platforms and in alternative browsers).

Although I have to say when it comes to backup software, I really don't think the GUI matters that much. I think it's a bigger advantage having a uniform GUI across all platforms, than having a nice GUI that only works in Internet Explorer 6 on Windows and other fun stories like that...
