Western Digital could be set to add a 2TB model to its Caviar Black range, if a picture of a promotion card in Japan is to be believed. I have the 2TB Green running on my media PC at home. it may be a 'green' model, but it is totally silent and the performance is plenty good enough for it's purpose. If the Black model is as quiet I may well invest for my workstation!

...for the aforementioned cache GB/MB fubar.
still, 64MB is a lot for a spinny disk cache. For the record, SSDs usually come with more (eg. Samsung's 256GB one comes with a 128MB cache).

They fixed the 64GB but missed the other one...

A western Digital spokesperson sent this message: "WD has definitely not announced this product. As you are aware WD do not announce a new product until the company is shipping, which is not the case today."
