Checks? Really? If they were intended for purchasing 3com products, why wouldn't they send them rebate codes or coupons? I mean, maybe they still wouldn't destroy the old hardware, but they would have had to buy $450,000 in 3com kit to rip them off for $90,000 then, and basically 3com would have been laughing all the way to the bank instead of crying.
