Actually, they are much more than "heavily locked" into IBM.
BeCom are pretty much true blue. Which is ok when you know what to expect or don´t want to consult your IBM salesdroid yourself.
But in the same way as asking the SCC will yield HP, asking BeCom will give you the corresponding IBM offer.
