    At Oracles request hmmmmmmm

I can only imagine what Oracle pays for lobbyist's, but something does seem to have sunk home in Larry's head. The EU doesn't give 2 flying F++++ what the American DoJ says, and why should it.

For this I can only commend Oracle, who may just have realised that globalization, doesn't mean Americanization.

    Stop

    Story linkage

"In fact the hearing was delayed at Oracle's request."

Why is the above line linked to a story which doesn't suggest that Oracle requested the hearing be delayed? The linked story states that the EC have extended the ultimate deadline for evidence (in Jan), not that Oracle have asked the EC to extend this hearing.

    @ AC (delay change)

The two are intrinsicly linked - the reason for the ultimate deadline being changed is because the meeting was moved from November 25th to December 10th.

The EU's novel comedy idea of inviting a US based company to Brussels on Thanksgiving day being the reason for the move.

    FAIL

    "In fact" ?

This article implies that the US Senators were complaining about the recent 8 day postponement. The letter actually specifically calls out that the deal has been delayed for "seven months."

Oracle has customers over a barrell

The EU is just trying to protect consumers.

Oracle database is almost a monopoly in the Unix space and they want to squash the biggest threat to Larry's billions.

Larry is even concerned about taking $3M from school kids
