Sounds like a sale to intel to me

If anything it sounds like a sale to Intel is in the works. If anything they are leaning things out and trying to increase sales. Adaptec has become increasingly irrelevant and that would be due to substandard performance/price ratios. If you're going to charge top dollar, then the performance of your products had better be there, otherwise the freight train that is your competitors will run over you at high speed and not look back at the cloud of dust they left you in.
