As opposed to the theory that people with the disposable income to buy a 'tablet' computer might in fact have more disposable income than us mere mortals with a desktop, and therefore be more likely to impulse buy cr^h^h stuff.
..as most tablets are just toys (and not used for real work), it's users have nothing better to do than surf, tweet, and shop (or in the case of iPads they don't have the ability to do anything else really) - where as the rest of us using real computers actually do work on them!
Also, does Safari on iPads come with an ad-blocker? Would explain a few things also.
