    Linux install and Scripting forever

    I think you'll find that the Traffic Manager has been available as software for installation on Linux and Solaris hosts directly since the very beginning. This is not new. Nor is the scripting language (TrafficScript) which has also been in the Traffic Manager for a very long time.
