    Cúram used Rational Rose to generate it's models even before IBM took over Rational and a lot of people thought it would be swallowed at that time. It was probably only the experience of working with the company and implementing the product at the DWP which put IBM off buying the product then. Congratulations to those holding Cúram shares.

    And I get to set the downer mood for the rest of the comments by pointing out that software to manage unemployment and welfare benefits is a growth market these days!! What a canny investment by IBM!!

    Can the new advertising tagline include something like "Big Blue, for those who have the blues"? Or maybe "Big Blue ships for those who have pink slips!"
