    Spiral to death

    As with all "voluntary" schemes, the talented ones with other opportunities will leave first, therefore productivity goes down. Then have to hire more contractors and increase the costs.

    If I were a T Systems customer I'd be rattling cages at the moment!

    There is a reason they need "efficiencies..."

    The management have "low-balled" several outsource contracts, which they have subsequently won based on price (of course), and then discovered they are not making profit on the deals. Tip: If you are pitching an outsource deal, and your bid is much less than either the existing supplier or the other would-be suppliers, you need to ask yourself why. If the answer is not "because our costs are also much lower" then good luck.....

    Job of making people redundant and getting rid of as much talent as possible - Well we would hate those pesky employee's to get any long term awards would we not... Sounds like Tesco's and Ocado - Which is odd seieng as they are all in/around hertfordshire...
