    Have to smile (a little cynically too perhaps) at vendor statements such as ....

    "Philippe Fosse, veep of EMEA channels at EMC, said his company is ring-fencing 150 enterprise customer accounts that it will continue to target directly - but all others are designated as channel-only"

    So, 150 juicy ones are mine but you can have the rest....!

    No guarantee of course that if another 50 juicy ones come along they won't be ring-fenced.
