    Not good

Cost cutting is done to make the financials look better when business is poor. Symantec IMO has so many fundamental Biz issues they can't find their arse with a road map and both hands.

There consumer based A/V software has as many Bugs as Microsucks O/S's making neither reliable, functioning products. When you report the Bugs to Symantec, just like with Microsucks, they are so impotent they can't even fix the Bugs. The latest joke Symantec has posted on one of their website error messages is: "Be sure to reboot your computer daily while we attempt to resolve the known software issues". Yeah, that will work real fine for Biz hardware running 24/7... Arse clowns sums up Symantec. They may become a boot note the way they are not progressing.
