    the problem is the CSC / iSoft Lorenzo software is a crock of shit that doesn't work. Its supposed to replace all paperwork in a hospital - but doesn't. So medical records in wards are still written up on cards and filed / stored, never going anywhere the computer system. They're not even scanned in retrospectively. Using Lorenzo actually in many cases actually SLOWS access to patient records.

    CSC withdrew from the primary care (GP surgery) software market two years ago because they couldn't make that work. Its about time they admitted their Lorenzo hospital software is equally crap and pulled the plug. Its an horrendous drain on NHS resources, and also on CSCs finances. It would benefit all to close it down
