Reasoning
The question is, why was there such a major shift and transition in the sales organization? Veteran, experienced sales people don't forget how to sell. There are usually many factors involved...economic conditions, client buying cycles, budget etc. The need for solutions don't go away. However, many companies could care less about the economic and non-economic conditions that surround a buying cycle. All that's left by management is that "it is the sales person's fault". I am not saying that is the case here at Commvault, but having been in this game for 30+ years, I DO know what goes on. The question I'd be asking as an investor is why the turnover in the sales force? Cleaning house for whatever a reason is almost always never the right answer.
