    Buying PCs again? Would that be because they don't come with Windows 8 any more?

    Out of interest, are minis such as the NUC included in these figures?

    It would be interesting to see if Steam is helping to create a living room indie PC gaming market.

    At the very least I expect that the underwhelming show that the new consoles are putting on compared to the sheer variety that is offered for PC must be having an effect on laptop / desktops.

    I've just ordered a new high-spec desktop, though I doubt it will be included in the figures as I bought it via Amazon.co.uk direct from a small manufacturer China... and it doesn't have Windows pre-installed on it. (Soon to have Linux Mint installed on it.)
