    Meh

    Classy but niche vendor who has just had its USP eaten alive by the Hadoop ecosystem, essentially cd in an MP3 world.

    They have maturity on their side but industry mindshare going way against them together with every VC and their dog committed to Hadoop.

    I'm almost rooting for them but having seen their pricing in action not so much.

    Expect SAP to go the same way but a much more lingering death due to false buoyancy from their Ledger and CRM revenues.

      As a forty-something commentard I for one welcome this 67-year old overlord however short his tenure might be. There is something to be said for age, guile and magic knickers.
