    A former Equallogic division of Dell employee I can't say that I'm surprised that Compellent is now going to get the EL treatment. Haha. too bad.

    I think Chris nails it at the end:

    "the hyper-converged category is growing fastest and could/should overtake integrated platforms by this time next year, and maybe certified reference systems as well"

    that's where the next battlefield will be.

    next obvious question for me

    Is how does revenue of all of these "converged" systems compare to non converged ? For the business I work for we do use HP DL servers and storage and vmware, though none of it would be considered "converged".
