And they wonder why people pirate.
So firstly M$ screams about TechNet copies being the main way people pirate, so they shutdown TechNet.
Now they bump up the prices on thier software.
Plus they still haven't answered the question of whether they will bring in cheaper MSDN pricing to compensate for the loss of TechNet, they only give the "get an eval. version" line.
I feel sorry for the gen y's and gen z's coming through, because in my experience, they don't have the $3.5K per course to help them get certified and most companies only pay for training of certified people to keep them happy and with the company.
With all the companies outsourcing to India as well, is there really any use going for a career in IT anymore?
