    WTF?

    erm, remember the NHS debacle?

Why are they allowed anywhere near a public sector contract after the grade A balls up that they performed on the NHS?

      I think you'll find

That the NHS was completely shagged a good deal before any of the suppliers were brought on board.

Largely it stemmed from their early IT policy, which involved sticking a pin in the internal telephone directory and then sending that person a cheque for £2k with a note pinned to it saying "buy some computer stuff".

They ended up with a rather eclectic collection of machines (as you would expect). Yes, there were some PCs, but there were also Amigas, STs, Macs, CPCs - pretty much anything available on the market at the time.

    ICT?

"Fujitsu will provide a managed ICT and telecommunications service for the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service for the next five years."

Does ICT refer to Intra-Company Transfer and a load of people hired on the cheap in far flung places?

    Remember LIBRA?

Would this be the Fujitsu that screwed up the LIBRA project for Magistrates Courts so badly?
