Umm...

The article didn't state that the flash wasn't replaceable or integrated into the chip, just the 'link' which I took as a bus controller of sorts. I suppose one could read "a bank of Flash storage" as being either however memory slots are often referred to as 'bank 0,' 'bank 1' etc. and nobody speaks of them not being fixed in place.
