Where did you hear he dumped all his stock??? I know he dumped a load on the first day but nothing since.
I think what happened here was a number of investors expected idiots to buy big, and then they could dump the stocks and profit. What they didn't realise was that they were the idiots.
I read it as 'suckle'.
I think the shares are worth around $1 each. So they've got a little further to drop.
Backpfeifengesicht. Oh hang on, that's just Zuckerberg.
...she better divorce him pretty sharpish while her 'half' is still worth something.
In my dad's day it used to be Italian leather jackets- this scam has been around for ages in one form or another.
that's the best way to scrape usernames and passwords. I'm fine with people using my unsecured wifi as long as they don't mind me using their unsecured login credentials.
Looks like India will have a working constellation up before Galileo.
Well, Beidou will be pronounced 'Compass' when it goes global.
His appearance was because he was doing a report from the studios as they were making FG.
the new bs- used like 'this is a rich seam of information that needs to be data mined at all costs..."
nip into the bar where you can often find the speakers indulging in a bit of dutch courage before going to give their talk. Engage them one-on-one about the topic, get all the info you want out of them. And finish with a 'don't worry about the talk, judging by what you've told me, you know the whole thing inside out.' He gets the encouragement he needed, you get all the info required to bullshit your boss the next day.
remember when we used to call the 'cloud' the 'internet'...
I would not feel too bad about partaking in that meal as the money you had spent with the father ensured the survival of the whole family.
Contrast that with the story my mother told me of growing up in rural Ireland in the 40s, in a large family. Everyone used to dread the priest turning up because he always did so for Sunday dinner and got the best of the food and usually seconds too. After he left, the children got to eat whatever was left.
"You mean it does email, internet and shits in Kyles mouth? This is the best thing ever!"
The primary purpose of every government is to privatise profit and socialise debt.
Indeed. There's a ban on Sony kit in my office because of their "after sales support". And I've just upgraded my Xperia Mini Pro to a Samsung Galaxy S2. It was only because Ericsson was still involved that made me get the Xperia in the first place. Now there's no Ericsson, there's no way I'm buying.
...they still haven't scored 3 stars on all levels of Angry Birds
my thoughts exactly- Apple are butthurt because iCloud hasn't had the same level of popularity of Dropbox.
It didn't really occur to me that people were doing Skype-to-non-Skype calling. I think the last time I check, the standard tarriff on my mobile was just as good as Skypes prices.
So there's RIM, Nokia and Ericsson has just left the building.

Believe me, Trimble know how to charge- $500 will seem like the greatest bargain ever as soon as the Trimble Beancounters finish their job.
Does anyone know who Marius Milner is working for these days?
the caveat would be- "but don't put them on the board of directors unless you are prepared to suffer death by beancounter."
...rats leaving the sinking ship and a couple of asset strippers brought in to enrich the top level guys before the whole thing goes bang.
I think the gist of this article is that the EU will get PNR on amercian passengers which they can hold for 5 years (though half the time that US Homeland Security can hold the same data on EU passengers)
I've even seen the Tetris one done before.
yep- I was thinking of some form of shunt or switch.
Severing the spinal cord at the neck, rendering them quadriplegic. And then leaving them to the families to care for them.
Does this mean that the US will finally start giving the EU PNR for American passengers?
which was parodied in a Simpson's Treehouse of Horror- Pierce Brosnan provided the voice.
How about having a response time of less than 5 weeks (say 5 days) when people order new phone and broadband lines. That way you can start billing them 4 weeks sooner.
Same as my 10 year old. Everytime she wants to add a new app to her iPod, she has to ask me to type in my iTunes password. This also allows me to see if the app is suitable for her age, and in one case stopped her from getting scammed on an in-app purchase.
I've always liked Gobblers Knob in PA- Home of Punxatawny Phil of Groundhog Day fame.
I remember trying Hersheys for the first time when I was in the states. I bought it back to the shop and told them it was stale. When they told me it supposed to taste like that, I said 'Really??? And people eat this???"
not a fan of swiss chocolate (it's always over-creamed). Belgium and French chocolate is the best.
I'm reminded of Psion getting into bed with Motorola- That relationship effectively killed Psion.
I think Nokia started making a mess of things (read Symbian) before they acquired it.
but who rates the rating agencies?
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? applies...
Exactly what I was thinking- 'Oooh $25,000. That will put a huge dent in the dividend payout this year. Google will think twice about doing that again in the future.'
Wife: How's Mr Banerjee?
Dalek: HE'S NOT FEELING TOO WELL.
Wife: Oh why?
Dalek: BECAUSE I EXTERMINATED HIM.
Exactly what I was waiting for too. Also when the subway service was suspended the HUD should have displayed 'WALK YOU LAZY BASTARD".
Finally, at the end when he says 'want to see something cool?', I was really hoping that he was going to throw himself off of the roof of the building and the last shot would be the rapidly approaching ground.
Money parted from fool. Now fool wants money back.
I'm guessing he's heard about some Facebook stock coming up for options...
>only speculate money that you can afford to loose
as opposed to "only speculate money that you can afford to tighten"???
No, I understand the concept very well. However, being a developer myself I can price the cost of development for an App. If someone spent months writing that App they are either not a good programmer or are very new to Objective C. I doubt the requirement catalog for the App even ran to one page.
And for what it's worth, there are similar apps in the store for $10-$30.
