If Three had really wanted us to not worry about data usage, then they would not have removed their unlimited data offers.

I reduced my Three phone to a basic calls/text plan and bought an EE 50gb mobile broadband box for £25/month.

Well mine has a sort of deadman's time lock. If I don't reset it once every 24 hours it zeroes all the drives, and then ejects the drives and they fall down through a T4 degausser to make sure the data is not recoverable.

Not go anything to hide though - just don't want those dodgy photo's of me ending up on the internet ;-)

Why does the article claim the Epson PX820D is the most expensive (at £300) when the Canon Pixma MG8250 is £499?

Is the Canon that much better than the Epson for almost twice the price?

I wonder how many they'll lose when their customers realise the 'promised' speed doubling in July is now not going to be started until Dec '12 to May '13?

I was in the process of choosing between BT & Virgin earlier in the year and only settled on Virgin because the salesman told me of an impending connection speed doubling - otherwise I would have gone with BT for a similar price.

Most of the 'free' wi-fi in cafes & shops is intended for customers, so wouldn't this be theft?

Maybe, finally, the average consumer has realised (probably not though) that the headline speed of 'eleventy-hundred megabits per second' and 'unlimited broadnand' doesn't actually that, and they won't be able to physically download any more than they used to because the ISP is throttling/traffic-shaping them so much that they might as well have a 1200baud modem.

Mac users less likely to fall for a phishing site?

This survey states that the risk of a user falling victim to phishing is the same whether they're on a Mac & PC.

If this is the case, then how does the survey reconcile with the fact that most Mac users are using Safari (no phishing filters) and most PC users are using Firefox (with phishing filters)?

I'm sure the problem seems bigger to these developers, as they will all presumably have had the beta versions to test & develop on, and maybe java worked fine on the alpha/beta pre-release versions. I didn't hear of any java incompatibility problems in the latter versions, so I'm assuming it's a problem with the release version only.
