Television A La Carte

I've been wanting this sort of system for years. I'd rather pay for the channels I know that I am going to watch rather than the 60 that I won't. Honestly, I could not care less about such wonderful networks as TBN, MTV and their comparable bed buddies. I'm of the same opinion when it comes to sports packages. Unlike some people, I primarily only watch the games in which teams I am truly interested are playing and have no need for the other channels that feature the other teams. I'd even pay good money for this.

Mine's the one with only remote in the right pocket.

Availabile for Years

Like you mentioned, this stuff has been readily available in military surplus stores for years. It just goes to show you what really happens to the gear that people 'accidentally' acquire from supply and never find a use for years down the road when it comes time to clean out the garage.

It makes me wonder what I'm going to do with all of my gear when it comes time to get out.

Mine's the one with Second Chance plates fitted in the front and back. Never can be too sure about life on the outside.

Rubbish

To think that there are people who will see this as a good thing makes me worried for the future. Sure they may start by merely filtering for supposed copyright infringement, but why should they stop there? Why not keeping digging further into whatever else it is that you do?

Mine's the triple tinfoil coated one, thanks.
