In Windows XP SP3 leaps into the tubes
Installed SP3 on my laptop last night without a hitch. Only 66mb through windows update and a single reboot. The whole process took about 30 minutes. Still working today as is my desktop which I updated last week. The one downside was the unwelcome reappearance of Messenger which I thought I had eradicated years ago.
As the title where am I going wrong????

In MS pulls plugs on XP SP3 mass launch
The full download is 316mb, but I'd guess that theWU download size will depend on installed components. SP3 installed flawlessly on my old XP machine.

In BT: 'We did not let anyone down over Phorm... it was not illegal'
It would a be wrong to compare a serious news programme with the BBC Breakfast programme which provides early morning easy listening news. The presenters today were let down by the producers in that they appeared to be poorly briefed and were not helped by having to rely on two "experts" who clearly did not know what they were talking about.
