Uhm, well.

Blah blah Linux, blah. MediaPortal works for us and never has had a problem. It works better that MCE and well. It just. Works. I don't care for what you like about a Linux run HTPC as it's not relevant to the topic.

We don't use it to "change channels". Hooking up to a 18Tb server mean channel changing isn't needed.

Next?

Alert

THB vs all search engines

So if i type "warez" into google or any search engine, and then click on a link provided and dl a movie, software or anything illegal, then that's fine? I stand by TPB's arguement that they are no different to Google.

What's the difference? None. As long as there is media to pay for, there will be a way to get it for free. I still don't understand why they don't work with them. It worked for Napster. iTunes to widely popular (although restrictive).

If you play music for a wedding or a funeral or similar, you are breaching the broadcasting licence, but you don't see anyone getting fined for that.

All in all, it doesn't really matter as Newsbinz is better and faster.

Paris Hilton

lolz

I rarely use my real name on the internet and hardly ever use my personal details. It's not for the stupid reasons above, but more becos it is vital to my work that i'm not noticed :)

Paris.. because even she doesn't know how the internet works.

Stop

Access?

So Google have to hand a bunch of data over. The ruling doesn't mention

anything about Viacom accessing the data. Google should just encrypt it.

There's nothing to suggest that the court ruled for access. "Look,

here's the crap you wanted. Good luck opening it."

You have performed an illegal operation.
