I think I see what you were trying to do , but it seems such a shame that to waste all the effort that the resolution fairies put into giving me a nice wide screen. Very retro though, looks like a badly adjusted CRT monitor. If this is what you were going for then all well and good, but were you? Really?
Other than that it looks cleaner so it's a good first draft. How about finishing it off before you unleash it next time?

Like all sit-com's, the situation, in this case a geek enclosure, is but the scenario in which the comedy happens, in this case an exploration of rather strained human relationships. If you are a woman who works in roomful of men who caould have been class definitions for Roy and Moss then the humour is definitely that of recognition. If you are a geek who could be as self-unaware as Roy and Moss, well, I'm sure that I don't need to show you the Powerpoint presentation.
I can see them making a reasonable fist of The IT Crowd, they did OK with The Office after all, but I fear for what they will do to the utterly wonderful Look Around You. If nothing else, who will they get with a voice as sexy as Peter Serafinowicz?

10 years after leaving mainframes behind, I received through the internal mail a note asking, "Remember this?" and a piano-ruled printout out with an elegantly arranged boxed-out error message that read, "If anyone is reading this, the database is truly fucked in a manner that defies explanation". True, but unhelpful.
Lovely word, that, and always entertaining to watch at the end of the accounting period? Where did the new desks come from? Virement, where all new kit comes from after 11 months of budget drought.
We've been here before. Many times. We learnt this lesson when we programmed mainframes and had to count clock cycles and co-ordinate media reads to make things move at peak efficiency. We learnt this lesson, again, through the rise of mini/departmental computers and how we got the buggers to talk to each other. We learnt it again with PCs and the muddle of client/server. We learnt it all over again with the web. We will be learning this lesson as long as we need to develop code because every time time we learn this lesson we forget it. Why? I don't know, but I'm getting bored watching happen again and again and again.
I am sure that Uncle Sir Clive would be proud to know that his work continues (but then again, he never was that fond of 'puters per se, was he?)
