Nuts to your poncey hipster coffees, I want a TESLA ELECTRO-CAFE

Espresso with milk

As a person who puts a lot of milk in with the espresso, its been my understanding that the difference between a Rancillo and a Mokita isn't really noticeable after adding milk.

If you drink it without milk then its worth the difference.

Disclaimer: I put my Mokita and my grinder in a box about 2 years ago and have been using a Saeco X-Small since then. It takes a bit less space and I end up with a lot less coffee grounds on the counter.

MANIC MINERS: Ten Bitcoin generating machines

Andrew Stevenson

Re: I'm not some kind of hippy or anything, and it's an interesting experiment....

We do a lot of nasty mining to get the materials for computers and power generation.

Lots of things are pushing us to find efficiency.

Are there estimates of the volume of network traffic from Bitcoin (and its copycats)?

How much electric power does all that mining take?

I've had one for about a week now and I'm impressed with the price to value ratio.

When I read that it had 10+ hours of browsing, I assumed that you would have to stay in the TIFKAM (Surface UI) browser, but I found that I got easily10 hours of general use; including a couple hours of playing Hearthstone.

I think a second usb port on the tablet would have been nice so that I could hook up a mouse without hooking up the keyboard. If I already had bluetooth mouse around, I might not feel the same ;)

If you like to tinker, you could probably hide some more memory in the keyboard by wiring it up to the usb port.

It supports 5 touch points, so I've been looking at gesture utilities that enable more than Windows does.

As a software developer

As a software developer, I quickly learned to tell people that I didn't know much about broken computers and that I had someone I called when my computer was broken.

This helped with most of the can-you-fix -it requests, but I would still ending up uninstalling all that unused software that my mom and sisters would have.

I wonder how much consideration they have given to the possibility that these companies would cease to contribute their patents to standards bodies if it requires FRAND?

Digital certificate authority suspends ops following breach

How do we block this one

How can we block all certificates that stem from any so-called certificate authority that is owned by the same parent company?

Sloppiness with certificates must be punished severely.

Time is relative

If they manage to find a way to do it, the timespan will be very small, maybe the detector would only be able to detect that there were 2 things instead of one; or maybe history would show that the detector was damaged before the experiment ;)

Whats the equivalent Panasonic branded model?

At this price, this is surely just a Leica branded Panasonic, whats the equivalent Panasonic branded model?

The Pan. model should be quite a bit cheaper.

@Ru: For the things you mention, you should look at higher end Leica's or others that are truly made for that kind of professional need.

Political Science?

I believe that we (humans) have a significant effect on the environment. With all the stuff we do, how could we not have an effect?

That being said, the scientific information from both side seems to be based more on belief than on science.

I wonder how much understanding a manager at NASA would have of the individual projects of the hundreds of people under his direction.
