You did read the bit about the cables getting stolen ? For redundancy you would have to lay back-up cabling, then guess what.... yep they would be stolen as well.
As a previous poster has said, its not the best job in the world to have to make a living at, my daughter is currently selling PC's, Mobiles etc. Their sales targets were £75,000.00 in Dec to make a 2% commision, thats hard going. On top of that its conditional on them selling 5 support packages in that month. £75,000.00 of sales only 4 support packages NO COMMISSION. We wonder why they dont give a shit.
Yep Flash is pretty damn bad, but now maybe apple users who bemoan its performance on osx have got a taste of what Windows users suffer when they use the virus that is itunes on their pc's. I agree that Adobe should sort out flash but equaly apple should sort out itunes.
All i hear is BSOD from people here, what the fuck are you doing on your pc's. I havnt seen BSOD for years now.
The amount of people who seem to have problems with MS amazes me. I think the last time i had bsod was on NT after installing some lotus shit on it. It reminds of a course i was on some 5 years ago for Netcool and some unix/linux fanboi kept telling me how even his grandmother could break into Windows and all the usual crap, so i gave him my laptop and said "go on genius do it" utter horror on his face. I use linux/various flavours of windows and even had to play with a mac from time to time. To be honest its horses for courses, the only one im not keen on is the mac, love the hardware hate the lockins. And Ubuntu boys , sorry centOS wipes the floor with you. My point is every OS has its problems, hence every OS has its problem forums (yes even mac) Linux is great on a server, but then again so is MS after NT4. I have to look after quite a number of mixed servers and to be honest i couldnt split MS from linux in terms of reliability. BUT some of the apps on linux can be a bit tricky to get going initially. So lets all stop bitching and agree to disagree about the claimed merits of all OS's
Lets be honest, this is just another excuse for the EU to grab more money from private enterprise in the way of a fine. The average user dosn't give a shit what browser they use. I currently have chrome, firefox and ie in use on my pc, to be honest i don't really see much difference in terms of performance between any of them.
