It's a wonder that Apple employees are able to make children...
Please compare with e.g. a Domestic freeview TV/ STB (E.g. the Sony Freeview Box) and see how many channels that picks up in comparison with the same aerial.
Else it is hard to gauge performance

You need a easy way for ideas to flow up the organisation, get users used to asking for advice on more than desktop support. If desktop support is too awkward, people tend to resort to self fix / colleague fix. Which is hard for the IT leadership to monitor improve process.
Or it the latitude range getting a little too complicated?
Now a completely sealed / waterproof laptop with a wireless dock could be a very cool thing.
ID card should also have RSA style 2 factor authentication built in also (like pn + token no). Would be a boon for accessing websites . Secure transaction etc.

Once the systems get linked up enough and most of our data is easily harvested. What is to stop the controlling authorities to start doing experiments / simulations on the general population for fun....

Just get a big frickin' laser and etch all the really important stuff you want to keep onto the surface of the moon.
For that amount of money a plasterer could easily chase the wires into the wall. Eliminating the need for wireless.
If it was say 200USD the story would be different.
