I got a new laptop with 11 installed - I clicked on what I thought was the start menu and saw an article about Justin Bieber appear. My experience with 11 ended right there.

If el'reg produced the "2015 Post-Pub Nosh Almanac" it would take pride of place on my bookshelf :) I actually hunted down Franceshinha on my last trip to Portugal.....

But if there's no book....please carry on....I await the online-2016 edition..

For the last couple of years, it would seem VMware have been trying really hard to loose this reputation. I've lost count of the serious bugs....are we on 6.0z yet?

Re: That was already so in 5.1

Apart from using Flash, I like the web-client too. Having to tell customers they have to use two completely different GUIs to fully manage their environment is what I dislike. If web client could do SRM / VUM etc then I would have no problem.

Just installed and got the lovely message below.

Glad to see that they've worked on maturing the existing platform rather than introducing more features to bug fix. Really hoping I don't see 5.5.a/b/c. Pity SSO is still here as I've to see anything but pain from that! 64 TB VMDK and heap improvement are my favorites.

Just hope the web client doesn't turn into TIFKAM.

VMware profits pinched in Q4

Enterprise+ eh?

As fully paid up 3.5 Ent with SnS I wanted to upgrade to ESX 4.0 Ent+. When asked to jusitfy cost against benefits blah blah - gave up (even with the promotion).

With MS on-site and our EA - VMware, help me out here. I love ESX but senior management look at one thing.

P.S : Over my dead body does ESX get decomissioned. Problem is I'm not immortal ;)
