Re: WTF is GiffGaff
@Sir Wiggum - since the recent price change and cap of the £10 goodybag to 1GB data, you're free to tether on that.
Tethering is still not allowed on the £12.50 unlimited goodybag though.

take a moment guys, this slanging match is starting to wear thin even if it does give us some laughs at times.
Personally, I don't see AIX dying, POWER will continue to grow until there is no longer any business requirement for it, Nehalem is proving to be quite-a-lot-of-what-was-claimed-it-would-be, Linux is showing its strength on the commodity x86 platform and lastly, when did anyone ever say anything other than the "next blah-blah-blah will be the BIGGEST STEP EVER"?
I'm guessing that if your company is big enough to be making decisions between POWER and Nehalem, you're probably big enough to accommodate both.
No-one seems to have mentioned the fact that aside from the benchmarks and raw-power comparisions that are thrown about, it's horses for courses.
Some apps need the processing scalability of POWER, some don't and x86-based Nehalem-EX-enhanced is a good way to go if that's the case.
Just understand the pros/cons of each and make a decision (pros/cons obviously includes cost).
