The ‘Vaping Crackdown’ starts today. This is what you need to know

Re: That's quite a pro-vaping article.

Re evidence and citations: The BMJ has a number of articles, editorials and debates on the subject too.

Re: Sky can get stuffed

Yes. KCOM (Kingston Communications) are rolling out fibre to the door by default across their network. It's happening where I live right now. And if you want to pay them for it they'll gaurantee 100 Mbps (not 'up to'). Of course we don't have much choice of provider round here.

Re: Launchpad?

Quite.

In fact I prefer a stack of my Application folder to Launchpad - it provides a much better interface. One that has more than a little in common with the Windows Start menu!

Birmingham doesn't have direct flights to London as far as I can see. But why on Earth would it? There are 8 trains an hour between Birmingham and London with the quicket (Virgin - every 20 minutes) taking about 1 hour 25 minutes and stop at Birmingham airport on the way. You're in London before you'd have even taken off.

I'd suggest the situation for Cork should be similar, but isn't.

Bletchley Park gets £7.4m to tart up WWII code-breaking huts

Re: Why do they need 7m

Block C, where the education and visitor centre will be located, is *not* a wooden hut. It's a listed brick building that requires careful restoration. It is the building immediately to the right as you drive through the gate to Bletchley Park.

Problem solved

At Marylebone, where this has been trialed, they fitted the ticket gates with barcode scanners that you just hold your mobile phone's screen over (in addition to the mag-strip slot and Oyster card reader). Worked fine when I used it.

Gates Halo

They are.

It is supporting the standard: HTML5. And HTML doesn't define a standard video codec.

That's the first time in my life I've ever said anything to defend Microsoft. I feel dirty.
