I am quite impressed. It's good to see someone not following the herd, but actually thinking about what you can do with all the wizardry about.
I don't want one, of course, as it is a temple to consumerism by a tax-evading group of shits. But it is a clever temple to consumerism by a clever tax evading group of shits.
I've never twatted nor facebukked anything that I didn't want people to know.
And I do support certain political viewpoints on there, and if MI* are collating my remarks about IDS and Blair and Gove and Microband, then there is some chance they may get to hear my views, if only as part of a bell curve. Good. 'cos they ain't listening any other way.
"...allowing electric cars to drive in bus lanes.... California allows electric cars...car pool lanes,..."
Given how ordinary all cars look now, surely this would require all electric cars to have a BFO "E" stencilled on the bonnet in flourescent paint, so that the camera operators would know they are entitled?
It must be Friday. I was getting worried for a bit.
I've actually enjoyed this week. Siemens S7 programming. Training Ladder, statement list, real-time interrupts. Accumulators, register indirect addressing, binary. Made me think I was back in 1974.
Just wait till the boss discovers he booked me on the wrong course!
I think that Dell rubbishing the idea of innovation is of a piece with Boeing giving up on innovation and all the other death-of-the-west retrenchment in businesses run by accountants and engineers . We desperately need innovation and R&D.
But I too have my doubts that HP will make a success of this. Their track record in recent decades is not encouraging.
My view is that
* Snowden was, by simple definition, a traitor
* The world is better off for what he revealled
So he was a Traitor working for a corrupt regime. He decided he could not keep the secrets secret. That makes him a good man, but does not stop the unfortunate side effect of being traitorious toward a regime that neither he nor I respect.
I understand what you are saying, but they are a really good way to confuse the salesdroids at PCwhirled, who will try and sell you a laptop with 768 pixels and a phone with 1200 all at the same time. It's worth doing, if only to see the existential angst on thier little faces.
