But how ?
But how does the falling curtain at the ceremony work? Where did it go?

On my car I have one key that opens every door, and even includes a thing to remote lock/unlock by wireless. On some cars that could open the boot or start the engine.
My house needs 5 separate lumps of metal, and can't open the door for me when my hands are full.
I know who I am. I could wear a posh thing round my neck, that combined with CCTV would let the house recognise me and open doors for me with out doing anything except walk towards it.
I bought something from that branch of PC whirled once. It just goes to show how crushingly boring Poole/Bournemouth are on a wet January monday. There is a maplin nearby, for those who want a serious dose of people being patronising, rude, and wrong in one sentence.
"MtGox was still accepting new customers right up until the eve of its shutdown, The Reg has learned."
Err, of course it was. Had it stopped trading earlier there would have been an earlier date for the shutdown. If you stop doing something, you must have been doing it right up till when you stop.
I think this is the real problem.
I don't suppose for a minute that anyone at the NHS wants to do dastardly things. I also assume good faith on the part of most of the Government. But that isn't enough. We now don't trust any of our power structures in this country, after 5 decades of ineffectiveness and occasional magnesium flares of corruption.
Duck houses, the way failed politicians run away to well paid sinecures in Europe, Blair and his housing stock, Thatcher and her cover ups. We don't trust them any more. At all. Over anything.
So when they try to do something that /might/ need us to take a balanced view of why they are doing it, we can't. Because we suspect everything they do. We have become uber-cynical.
The shame is entirely theirs.
Twit.tv says that Whatsapp is big in Europe because it is cheaper than cross-border texting. You say that it's big in the orient ditto ditto. I'm an international service engineer, I go to dozens of countries and meet hundreds of people. I've never met a whatsapp customer asking if I am one too. Never.
Who are all these gazillions of users?
