I don't know what put this into my head but I was curious if LOHAN is over or if someone else has taken up the mantle of Lesters dream (rest his soul). Last I heard it was over in Spaceport US somewhere awaiting FAA permission for a launch. Basically I was just curious if the project was now dead or if it's still just buried in officialdom. It still would be nice to get that bird in the air.
Just a shame they didn't go with their original cat launcher carriers, then they would have had plenty of choices to load on the carrier, sadly the UK military has a fetish for hugely expensive VTOL aircraft and are all too ready to touch their toes and take it in the rusty sheriffs star from BAE Systems.
The H1-B was supposed to allow companies to bring in essential workers to do jobs that couldn't be filled by US workers, but instead as usual it has been abused by companies in order to cut their costs by bringing in cheap overseas workers to replace more expensive US employees. They are not filling positions that can't be filled, they are filling positions that can be filled far cheaper and getting their what will soon be predecessors to train them.
That's exactly why. They got huge subsidies for setting up production although I worked in a place along with two guys who left Ford to work there and they said it was a great company to work for. Mind you it doesn't stop the cars being a bit naff but at least the people building them were happy.
Are you taking the piss... this is a supposedly RTM version and at this point in the release schedule, testers should not be finding these kind of bugs in something that will be released on a wide scale to the general public. It's not the testing that is the problem, it's what they are finding two days before general release that's the problem.

Well from what I can gather it's more of a database of who owns what as well as making it easier to obtain permission from aforesaid who to use the aforesaid what along with what usage rights you would be entitled to, etc. Basically a Google for the copyright information on images, video, or other copyrighted material that's littered around the internet..... however I could be completely wrong.
If I could use it with the same frequency I can use the contactless payment on my bank card I would but unfortunately that was not to be. we should have knew if Apple put in an NFC chip they would fuck us over in some way regarding it's use the same way they did for Bluetooth.

I'm between smart phones at the minute (sold my old one and waiting delivery of the new one) so I bought a cheap Samsung E1200 to cover the gap. I can't tell you how shit it is to go back to a 1 inch screen, no internet, 4 apps, 1 game, a crap signal, and that crappy old predictive text. Mind you, I bought it on Monday, fully charged it and it still has all it's power bars... maybe because it takes that fucking long to do anything on it I stopped bothering. My text replies now usually consist of "Yes", "No" or "Phone me"
If it's not "think of the children" it's "think of the national security" and in both cases little will be prevented by the data mining. British citizens, who may have an email address, phone number, credit card and whatever else, but having all those things isn't going to stop them travelling to Turkey where they will cross over into Syria. In fact many seem quite happy to tweet about who and where they are and what they are doing once they get there.
I don't think there is a complete lack of decent music, but there is less and less of it being released by recording studios who like to rely on the the same old formulaic dreary drudge. For me iTunes is the equivalent of looking through an elevator music catalogue. I prefer Bandcamp myself because while there is certainly a fair bit of dross, there are also quite a few gems and while it's mostly unknown or lesser known artists, much of it is worth more of my listening time than the factory processed dullness that's coming out of the likes of Sony and Universal.
I love the new Doctor, but the writers are giving him nothing. They seem to be more concerned with fitting Clara into some bizarre plotline. The series isn't so much Doctor Who any more as it is "The Adventures of Clara the Impossible Girl and her Time Travelling Companion". Capaldi desperately needs a Donna, some decent writers and preferably the resignation of Stephen Moffat as well. Maybe then Capaldi and the show might stand a chance of recovery.
Competing with Apple on publicity or trying to steal their launch thunder never works very well, in fact it usually only hurts more because most media eyes aren't waiting for the next big thing from Google or Samsung, so they may release it and they may get a mention, even a fairly big mention, but as soon as Apple do their launch the Google and Samsung stuff is quickly forgotten, even their tablets are usually called iPads by the less technically minded. I often get asked by my wife if she can borrow my iPad, no matter how many times I tell her it's not an iPad.
