As an aside, on the general subject of blocking ads, I am a bit mystified. I use an Adblocker and see very very few ads, not even the gambling ones. Why arn't more people using Adblockers? And if they don't, why are they complaining that the internet is unuseable because of all the ads?

The US is a Police State. Liang's only hope is a Presidential Pardon for fighting Obama era Climate Change laws.
The natural political system for a corporatist state such as the US is fascism.
The US also leads the way in locking up its citizens, with nearly 1% of its males currently doing time, and 5% either in jail, on parole or having done time in the past. Europe manages to get by with only locking up 1 in 1,000.
And that's even before we get onto the travesty of the UK extradition treaties with the US. (Gee, thanks ZANULabour).
Do not do business with America. Do not go to America. Do not fight wars with Americans. Or you WILL get shafted.

Ahhh - so you're saying that their system became self aware!
What we learnt from Microsoft was that within minutes of "going live" a system quickly learns basic Anglo Saxon and responds to all requests with outrage and tells management to f#ck off.

Obviously not Accenture's fault ...
I've been reading the Gruaniad and they make it totally clear that this wasn't Accenture's fault at all but the result of those wicked Tories and their completely unjustified funding cuts. You just can't expect the NHS to cope when its funding has been cut from £116 billion in 2015 to just £119 billion in 2017.

Unfortunately, Skype have probably just lost thousands of customers by threatening them with a 1400% price increase, so the police probably won't be able to afford it any more.

Warm the cup!
All your hard work is undone by not warming the cup first!
(Also has the advantage of removing contaminants left by last user.)
1. Boil kettle.
2. Warm cup with boiling water, pour away.
3. Re-boil kettle.
4. Pour still boiling water onto Twinings Everyday or English Breakfast tea bag in warmed cup.
5. Poke tea bag several times to ensure leaves within nicely soaked, inverting teabag several times to encourage infusion.
6. Leave for 3 minutes.
7. Mash tea bag to extract as much flavour as possible.
8. Remove teabag, add sugar to taste and no more than one teaspoon of skimmed milk.
9. Allow to cool to approximately 60 degrees C
10. Ignore comments from girls about colour of tea.
11. Slurp.
(And never never never boil the water in the cup in the microwave. Adding a teabag to such a cup just makes a mess.)

Why don't you warm the cup first? Tea needs really hot water to infuse properly!
People warm the teapot, so why not the cup? Essential as it also removes whatever evil contaminants left behind by the dishwasher's rinse aid.
And then you only need one tea bag, which you can leave to stew for several minutes before mashing.
And just a dash of milk to soften the bitterness.
End result should be a deep tan.
