Re: What is deemed harmful to kids ?

"sterilise and mutilate themselves in the name of progressivism." You do realise that you cant get bottom surgery until you turn at least 18. And thats after YEARS of therapy and long term gender changes. You dont just say "I am trans now" and are given a pair of bolt cutters and a corkscrew at the doctors. Its a long involved process.

Microsoft's problem child, Windows 11, is here. Will you run it? Can you run it? Do you even WANT to run it?

Linux for gaming?

Not technically off topic but general question. I am curious about windows 11 but I am more leaning towards linux these days, I mainly game however and using steam on linux there are very few actual games. Im curious if its a viable alternative now, if wine or similar is much easier to set up than it used to be.

"Do tell, where in the GDPR does it say that? (or even mention passwords?)"

Re: James Hollingshead

"I cannot do that it is against my religion" Is perfectly fine however, what is happening here is "YOU cannot do that it is against my religion" and that is so far from fine God himself would need a telescope to see it. There is nothing wrong with religion in principle, just the incredibly shitty stuff done in its name. And yes I am aware of all the other shitty stuff done in other things names. Doesnt make then any less deplorable too.

I tend to watch lets plays of things like GTA and to be honest I like watching people messing about in ways I never really thought of. I apparently lack imagination because I never thought to try to land a helicoper on a train. I now want to.

Also personally I tend to use lets plays as visual demos for the game, these days, even though it is easier than ever to provide them, most games do not come with demos so a demonstration of the gameplay is a big help.

Re: Hmmmm

Depending on what aspect you mean there is one that simulates LoS and time delay, called remote tech. This lets you set up satellite relays and if you want to control remote technology then you need it to have an active satellite link to a command module or the space center.

A more basic version of this was incorperated into the base game a couple of updates ago, This allows for more realistic remote monitoring/control, well, as in you can set up a control network and control probes, but it doesn't account for time delay
