Virus on a cd?
I can beat that
A company I once worked for sent out a self help CD-ROM for installing its hardware. Said CD-ROM was later found to have a porn film in one of the folders LOL
No, it wasn't me that built it lol

"Maybe you should read the manual instead of going to that nice man in the tyre shop..."
Oh yes, good idea, then go out and by the latest in laser alignment tech and do it yourself? I think not.
I agree you should know more about an item if you are going to use one, but the build your own car is a bit of a tall order. (I don't have the space or the money, but I do have the knowledge)..
I was waiting for this to be released, I was also following the progress through the media.
Glad I went for the iPhone instead. Loving every minute of it so far (3 weeks now). I will consider WM again once they've produced a decent OS.

I have to speak up for VM. Signed up with the 18 months ago and haven't look back. It may well be pricey, but it's reliable and fast. (touch wood). I can't help thinking that had they been given a network much like BT, they would be in a better position today.
Only 1 fact counts for me, My BT line is cr4p and my VM line is great.
I've no doubt this is going on. The EU doesn't need a MAC code as TT are applying for Phone service via MPF inseatd of WLR over SMPF. Working for another provider I came across this months ago, but nothing ever came of our complaints. (I guess the numbers have grown enough now for OFCOM to take an interest) Example: EU was happy with our BB and wanted to move his calls and Line Rental to TT. Instead of TT applying for WLR they would apply for the whole line (MPF). The first the customer would know of this is when they lost their BB. In truth, the MPF thing was new to alot of us at the time, even BT (Openreach) had only high level visablility of MPF which is why they couldn't help stop the takeover.
At the end of the day, TT are in the wrong as they should be applying fot the WLR, not MPF.
