Yeah I know - my 2 year BB contract is up in October. I won't buy a locked-down device (Apple), wary of a really small user base (Windows Phone), so I figure I'll just have to get used to Android. At least it'll run Skype chat which is more than my BB will do. I'm not even considering another BB as a serious option - terrible software, terrible support, crappy battery life, frequent reboots needed.
If WordPress site owners were smart enough to keep their installations up to date, this wouldn't be newsworthy. It's like the Darwin awards but for websites...
It shouldn't be too hard to find all 7 Google+ users on the planet and ask for their views...

When I bought my BlackBerry, its battery life was 3 days. One year on, it's more like 12 hours.

do so few compacts have optical viewfinders? It seems the only manufacturer that still cares is Canon.
Like some earlier commenters, a "proper" viewfinder is number 1 on my "must have" list, so this camera, nice though it might be, will never make it onto my shortlist.

I wonder if the Chrome results include Iron (the white-label version of Chrome that doesn't talk to Google).
I've been using Iron for ages - I find it consistently faster than Firefox (both starting up and loading pages), and I love the built-in DOM tools that mean I don't have to install Firebug.
I use the one that is published and updated regularly at http://someonewhocares.org/hosts/ - it speeds up my browsing, saves monthly download allowance and I've hardly seen an ad or tracking cookie since I started using it.
But that's what you'd expect with B&O being involved.
I've used various different B&O hifi products in the past, and have to say that if you close your eyes they're no better than middle of the road kit from any big name like Pioneer or Kenwood.
And it's too small (screenwise) to be a desktop, but too big to be a laptop. What's it good for?

You didn't mention it, but the display is only 1024x600 - which isn't much use for anything these days.

All this rowing is one reason why, as a web developer, I'm ignoring HTML5 completely until it's released as a stable standard and is adopted properly by all the mainstream browsers.
Until then, it's just a way of using up my valuable time without any discernable benefit.

Sorry for appearing to be intellectually challenged above. I must have missed the fact that it's just a NAS storage box, not a proper server. I think the words "Windows" and "Home Server" must have confused me :S
I've tried Ubuntu more than once, and been impressed with both the install process and the driver support. However, it just showed me that the free alternatives to mainstream Windows apps are simply not good enough.
OpenOffice does not (sadly) come close to MS Office, and totally borks DOCX and PPTX formatting.
And comparing Gimp+Inkscape to CS3 or CS4 is (again, sadly) like comparing a meccano set to the Eiffel Tower.
Linux - brilliant for servers (especially web servers) - not ready for desktops.
No word (that I could see) about the internal graphics specs...
It seems to me that this would be a really nice home theatre machine to use with a big TV/Monitor, coupled with a wireless keyboard/trackpad on the coffee table. More storage than a Revo, saves having a separate server.
But nothing in the review about whether its graphics are up to it - or indeed which graphic ports it has.
Not a bad list, including a couple I wasn't aware of.
However, I'd definitely replace Pidgin with Digsby. Pidgin is still buggy and unstable, Digsby seems less so, has better features, and the UI is far more intuitive.

Sure, Foxit Reader asks if it may install various other things during the install process, all you have to do is say no to them. Basic reading skills should see you through.

... now that the latest Google Chrome beta supports addons, and already has a choice of 3 different (and free) ad blocking ones available. And Chrome is so much faster than Bloatfox.
Bugger. Just ordered a 751... Sod's law. Ah well, perhaps I'll trade up in a few months.
I've always shied away from Chrome due to the lack of Adblock Plus.
However, the new AdThwart plugin actually works quite well. It's not very configurable yet (not at all actually), but I'm sure that will change.
After testing it for a day, I've now switched from Firefox (which is getting way too bloated, buggy and slow) to Chrome as my default. If I find something that really pisses me off, I might switch back, but it's all groovy so far.
