Sequential write performance is largely meaningless for any drive. 4K random reads/writes are far more meaningful.

Excellent!

Pre-order prices...

£50 for Windows 7 - Home Premium (full version without IE) (including tax)

$50 for Windows 7 - Home Premium (upgrade) (excluding tax)

...I'd take the UK pricing any day! I plan on buying 2 copies as soon as the pre-order is available.

'e.g. Two people buy a mars bar. One saves some of his for later. The other has 75% of his stolen, simply because he ate a snickers earlier.'

Your analogy is flawed. You're not buying a whole mars bar, you're buying a chunk of one.

Pathetic Search

Rather than spending time doing this frivolous stuff, maybe they can improve their awful search algorithms. Searching for 'Corsair GT' for example finds Corsair OR GT. Also narrowing categories usually is pointless as it just ends up showing all.

Start afresh

The first thing I do with any PC is reformat and reinstall, that'll only stop when they don't load any additional software.
