That's *So* Last Millennium...

This concept has been around for forty years that I personally know of; probably even longer. Back then, however, the machines were a it more entertaining, as a skeletal hand would creep out and *pull* the switch to turn the device off.

I suppose that when enough people forget about something, it gets "reinvented" and is considered new by a new generation. I await the (re)discovery of the Slinky, the Frisbee (previously known as the "Pluto Platter"), and the Hula Hoop.

Paris Hilton, because El Reg doesn't do IT, but they do Paris...

FAIL

This is sad...

I'm finding it difficult to believe that Microsoft has such a low opinion of the public. But wait! I understand. The public has been buying Microsoft products for years. Turns out, Microsoft is right after all. The public really is dumb enough to believe this crap.

It's not *Americans*, it's just some cunts in the US.

Calling Americans idiots for the behavior of a few loud knuckleheads is unfair and foolish. No one has a monopoly on stupidity. Many of us here are decent, reasonable people, but unfortunately, we don't control the media.

Empty Vista... for Cisco laptops?

Maybe it's for the cardboard laptops?
